Del Williams is a chartered physiotherapist with over 17 years clinical experience who specialises in manual therapy.

 

His career began with a degree in sports and Exercise Science, specialising in injury, before gaining a Masters in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University.  Del has worked as a Sports Therapist with local rugby, hockey and football teams and has continued to specialise in the field of musculoskeletal injuries allowing for a more extensive approach.   He continuously strives to develop his professional skills and knowledge and in 2016 completed a post graduate certificate in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Del specialises in hands-on physiotherapy, sometimes referred to as manual therapy. He is skilled in managing all joints and has a special interest in the ankle, hip and knee. He takes great pride in his rehabilitation skills and ability to work with his clients to develop individual programmes to suit their needs and goals.

Del lectures on the BSc (hons) Rehabilitation program through Edinburgh College and Queen Margaret University passing on his knowledge and experience to future Sports Therapists and Rehabilitators.. His background in sports include playing rugby at a local level as well as being a club swimmer from an early age that has developed in to a love for open water swimming.  He is a keen cyclist and enjoys middle distance running. He recently combined these disciplines and in 2017 entered the world of triathlons.
